Quetta City, DFA Panjgoor into Balochistan Football Cup semis

KARACHI: Quetta City and DFA Panjgoor blasted their way into the semi-finals of the PPL Balochistan Football Cup 2017 after beating their respective rivals DFA Lasbela and DFA Turbat in the quarter-finals in Quetta on Wednesday.
In the first quarter-final, Quetta City defeated Lasbela in a hard-fought battle 2-1 with Mohammad Mehdi playing a key role for the winners, he was also adjudged man of the match.
In the other quarter-final, Panjgoor crushed DFA Turbat 5-1 in a one-sided encounter.
The semi-finals will be held on March 31, followed by the final on April 2 at Malibagh Ground in Quetta.
