Five bodies recovered from River Indus near Attock
ATTOCK: Five dead bodies were recovered from the bank of River Indus in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station on Tuesday. On Tuesday, the locals of Dhoke Khosha and Bagh Neelab informed Saddar police that five bodies were lying on the bank of River Indus near Dhoke Khosha, Attock.
The police reached the spot and started shifting the bodies to hospital. One of the dead was identified as Hamza Majid s/o Majid Khan, resident of Nowshera. The 15-year-old had been missing for the last two months.
His parents had registered an FIR with the Nowshera police. The body of the youngster was handed over to his parents after postmortem and legal formalities. However, the identity of the remaining four dead bodies could not be ascertained as the bodies were decomposed. The postmortem of the bodies was underway.
