Nawaz, Zardari each other’s insurance policies: Sh Rasheed
ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are insurance policies for each other.
He said he prayed for justice in the Panama case so that bloodshed could be averted. He said he stood by Imran Khan and was in contact with leaders of six parties, including PML-Q and MWM. He said if the decision came against Nawaz Sharif, conduct of early election would be a problem, adding that talk for early election was making rounds.
He said that his party shared the views of Pakistan Aam Aadmi Party. He said both the parties were working for betterment of the common man and fighting corruption. He was talking to the media after a meeting at a local hotel. He said every institution was facing corruption and to end terrorism, it was necessary to end corruption. He said corruption was destroying the country. Aam Aadmi Party Chairman Chaudhry Nasir Mehmood said that there was no place for the corrupt in Pakistan and his party was in a fight against thieves and corrupt elements.
