Loralai, Sibi, Khuzdar win in Balochistan Football Cup
KARACHI: Loralai, Sibi and Khuzdar emerged victorious on the sixth day of the PPL Balochistan Football Cup being held at six divisional headquarters of Balochistan.
In the 37-team event qualifying stage, Loralai on Thursday whacked
Sherani 1-0, Sibi edged past Harnai 2-1, while Khuzdar prevailed over Washuk 3-2 as per details provided by the organisers.
Chaghi held Quetta to a 1-1 draw in a tough game.
The event is being organised in collaboration with government of Balochistan and Balochistan Football Association.
As many as 12 teams will compete in the final round which will begin at the Malibagh Football Ground in Quetta.
The last edition champions Quetta and runners-up Chaman have already been placed in the final round. A play-off stage has also been introduced and the winners of these two games will also qualify for the final round.
