Nawaz became ‘narrow-minded’ after getting power: Zardari
HUB: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had become ‘narrow-minded’ after getting power.
“Mian Sahib has a narrow thinking on all issues. By taking a tough decision on the holding of the PSL final in Lahore, he only wants a public show to demonstrate that there is peace in Lahore,” Zardari said while speaking to media persons here.
Zardari came to express condolences with Baloch politician Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo. Asked about the purpose of his visit to Balochistan, Zardari said: "I have come for condolence here; why would I talk about politics at this point? This is not the day for politics today I have come to console them."
Replying to a question, he said India was involved in sabotaging peace in Pakistan. “Everyone knows that India is involved in anti-Pakistan activities in Afghanistan, but the government has no realisation of this issue. What can I say about the government which has not appointed a foreign minister even after four years,” he said.
Replying to another question, Zardari denied inclusion of PML-N’s Irfanullah Marwat in the PPP, saying that the Karachi-based politician had good relations with PPP but he had not so far joined the party. Zardari said “Twitter brigade” is behind the propaganda about Marwat.
