What Is Seen...
'What Is Seen And Not Seen With or Without Seeing' is the first iteration of a subjective survey of contemporary drawing in Pakistan spanning a course of three and a half decades. It documents the evolution of drawing tracing the transition from modernist and postmodernist to contemporary practices through the political landscape of military regimes, post-9/11 up to the current upheaval of urban regeneration, adhering alongside to technological advances.

Dil to Pagal Hai
'Dil to Pagal Hai' (The Heart is Crazy), an exhibition of the outcome of the 4th Sanat Residency, opened at the Sanat Gallery on February 28. The exhibition features works of the seven resident artists, namely Ahmed Javed, Arslan Farooqi, Haider Ali Naqvi, Jovita Alvares, Noman Siddiqui, Qadir Jhatial and Razin Rubin. It is curated by the critically acclaimed visual artist Muhammad Zeeshan.

Rhythm of Kolachi
'Rhythm of Kolachi' is an exclusive exhibition of paintings by Hanif Shahzad. Merging his training and abilities as an artist and a civil engineer, his admiration for the city is matchless. Through the artist's vision we see Karachi, impressive in the dawn light and in the golden shades of sunset. He brings to life the essence of the street life and the unexpected grandeur outlined by the street lights and traffic at night.

Des Femmes et des Hommes
By painting a powerful picture of women's situation today, 'Des Femmes et des Hommes' depicts the multiple consequences of gender inequality on economical and social aspects of societies worldwide. It also raises awareness of the many benefits that stem from ensuring the fundamental right to equality.

Out of the Blue
Komail Aijazuddin is exhibiting his new painting series 'Out of the Blue' from February 28 to March 9 (excluding Sundays) at the Canvas Gallery.
An alumni of the New York University, with a master's degree from the Pratt Institute in New York City, Aijazuddin has exhibited his artworks extensively, both locally and internationally. Originally from Lahore, Aijazuddin is a full-time practising artist, who currently lives between New York and Lahore.
