Security arrangements finalised for educational institutions

OKARA: DCO Qaisar Saleem has said that the district administration has finalised arrangements for the security of educational institutions.
Talking here on Friday, the DCO said that 16 educational institutions were declared most sensitive and 160 as sensitive across the district. He said that a Quick Response Force (QRF) had been established for the security purpose.
3 HELD FOR DISTRIBUTING OBJECTIONABLE LITERATURE: The district police on Thursday night conducted a search operation and arrested three people on the charge of distributing objectionable literature.
They were identified as Muhammad Asif, Yaqoob and Ahsanullah. The police have registered a case against the accused under Section 9 ATA and 16 MPO.
OFFICE-BEARERS: Office-bearers of the deed writers & stamp vendors of the district were elected here on Friday.
They include Mehr Muhammad Rafique (president), Abbas Ali (SVP) and Zaheer Ahmad (general secretary).
