GUJRANWALA: The Sabzi Mandi police tortured six people, including a woman, during a raid to arrest an accused at Satellite Town on Thursday.
A police team led by SI Khalid Ghumman raided a house to arrest Sarfraz who was involved in a case. They also beat up his wife Lubna, son Gohar and servants Khalid Rehman, Sheikh Ashiq and Inayat. The victims got medico-legal certificates, which proved the torture. Sarfraz was wanted in several cases and his family had resisted the raid.
