HAFIZABAD: Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Inomata has said that the Japanese government has given priority to empowerment of women in Japan as well as other countries under the leadership of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
Inaugurating a science laboratory and a vocational training centre here on Wednesday, he said that the project would not only improve the female education and skills of the local community but also contribute to strengthen the friendly relations between the people of Japan and Pakistan. He said that the project had been completed at a cost of US $113,264 provided by the Japanese government to an NGO. He said that the science laboratory was established at Sakhi village and the vocational training centre in the city. NGO chairman Saifullah Zia and others were also present on the occasion.
