DASKA: Dacoits injured a police constable in an encounter here on Sunday.
City police, on a tip-off, raided a locality at the bank of BRB Canal to arrest dacoits Kaleem, Irfan and Irshad. When the dacoits saw the police party, they fired at them. As a result, Constable Riaz was injured. However, police succeeded to arrest dacoit Kaleem while his accomplices managed to escape.
MAN MUGGED: A man was deprived of cash here on Sunday. Munir was on the way to home, when three dacoits intercepted him near his house and snatched Rs 1,300,000 from him.
