DO Roads held for taking bribe

OKARA: The Anti-Corruption Establishment circle on Monday arrested DO Roads Azhar Ali red-handed when he was taking Rs 300,000 bribe from a contractor.
Complainant contractor Muhammad Iqbal filed an application stated that accused DO Roads Azhar Ali was demanding Rs 300,000 as a bribe from him for giving him contract of a construction work. At this, the ACE team raided the DO Roads office and arrested him red-handed when he was receiving bribe from the complainant. A case has been registered against the accused.
