11 air crash victims laid to rest in Chitral
CHITRAL: Eleven more victims of the Havelian plane crash, including six members of a family, were laid to rest in their respective areas in the district on Saturday.The bodies were brought to Chitral via C-130 plane early in the day. The relatives shifted the bodies to their native areas from the Chitral Airport. Mirza Gul, his wife, daughters Zahida Parveen, Samina Gul, sons Hassan Ali and Farhan Ali, residents of Garam Chashma, were laid to rest in their native village Izd. Commandant Chitral Scouts Nizamuddin Shah among others attended their funeral.Salman Zainul Abedeen, the son of former member provincial assembly Zainul Abideen, was buried in his ancestral graveyard in Morder.Also, Ayesha Usman was laid to rest in Drosh, Ihtiramul Haq in Booni, Muhammad Ali in Zait and Muhammad Khan in Morder.It may be noted that 20 Chitralis including six of a family from Garam Chashma lost their lives in the December 7 air tragedy near Havelian.
