GUJRANWALA: Gujranwala police Wednesday arrested a gunrunner and recovered a huge cache of illegal arms from him.
On a tip-off, Dhulley police headed by SHO Nasir Warraich raided a hideout at Soianwala Khoo and detained gunrunner Islam Gul, of Kohat. The police also recovered two 44-bore rifles, two pump-action shotguns, two pistols and one automatic rifle and some 600 live bullets.
According to police, Gull is an ex-serviceman and deals in illegal weapons that he brings here from northern areas. More disclosures are expected after the investigation.
