ISLAMABAD: In an interesting expression of solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), the international Kashmir lobby group Youth Forum for Kashmir (YFK) set free 200 doves to send a message of peace to the world on World Human Rights Day here at Fatima Jinnah Park on Saturday.
A number of renowned people joined YFK Kashmir activists including politicians, media persons, human rights defenders, volunteers & civil society members to mark this day to let world know Kashmir is in need of peace. They said that the way Indian army is killing innocent Kashmiris with full impunity speaks volumes about the champions of so called world's largest democracy.
The participants of the event asked world community to raise their voice for the people of Kashmir. YFK is Pakistan’s first pro-Kashmir, registered and non-partisan International lobbying group led by young Kashmiris and Pakistanis working to ensure justice to Kashmiris living under Indian-military occupation.
