Asad, Ali clinch titles in ITF Seniors Tennis

KARACHI: Asad Ali Bhagat and Reza Ali Mirza claimed 35 plus singles and 45 plus singles titles in the 1st Karachi Gymkhana Toyota Pakistan Seniors Tennis Championship, which concluded here at Karachi Gymkhana Tennis Courts on Thursday.
Asad thrashed Kaleem Ghanchi in the summit clash recording a 6-2, 6-3 victory. Ali blanked his final opponent Tariq Jan Allahwala registering an immaculate 6-0, 6-0 victory.
In 55 plus singles climax, Razi Nawab dropped a set before beating Karim Gul by 6-3, 2-6,10-5 score after a tough battle.
In 55 doubles final, Altaf Hussain and Humayun overpowered the duo of Gul Hameed and Indian Naresh Khatri recording a 6-2, 6-2 win.
