KARACHI: Bank Alfalah has struck a historic deal with the country’s first and the largest branchless banking service, Easypaisa to bring the unbanked population within the fold of financial inclusion, a statement said on Thursday.
The agreement also entails joint efforts from both the corporate giants to promote and strengthen digital payments in the country, it added. Mohib Hassan, chief information officer of the Bank Alfalah, and Muhammad Yahya Khan, head of Easypaisa, signed the partnership at Bank Alfalah headquarters in the presence of higher management from the two organisations.
