Sabih secures top spot in ITF Seniors Tennis

KARACHI: Sabih Wali secured the top position in men’s singles 60 plus round robin event in the inaugural Karachi Gymkhana Pakistan ITF Seniors Tennis Championship here Tuesday at Karachi Gymkhana.
Gul Hamid Khan, who defeated Akbar Hayat Khan by 6-2, 6-1 on Tuesday, secured the second position in the event.
In men’s singles 55 plus semi-final, Kareem Gul recorded a win against Fawad Ijaz Khan, who retired from the match at the end of the first set. Gul won the set by 6-3.
Kaleem Ghanchi recovered after losing the first set against Mohammad Manzar and eventually recorded a 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 victory in their semi-final of men’s singles 35 plus event.
