GUJRANWALA: A man was gunned down over an old enmity at Jhangi on Monday.
Reportedly, Nasir and Fayyaz had an old enmity and on the day of the incident Fayyaz and his son Umer were going to the sessions court to attend a case hearing. When they reached near Ferozwala bridge, their opponents opened fire at them, leaving Fayyaz dead on the spot and Umer wounded. Umer was rushed to the DHQ Hospital.
TRAIN KILLS WOMAN: A woman died when a train hit her at Nat Kalan on Monday. Reportedly, the woman was crossing the railway track when a Lahore-bound train hit her, leaving her dead on the spot. The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained.
