ASI booked for tampering with record

BAHAWALPUR: DPO Bahawalnagar Liaqat Ali Malik Monday penalised cops for violating rules.
On the directions of the DPO, City Chishtian police registered an FIR against its ASI Muhammad Afzal and arrested him on the charges of tampering with facts during an investigation of a case after receiving Rs 30,000 from the accused party. Fort Abbas police arrested cops Liaqat Ali and Abdul Razaq of the police station after registering a case against them and two others under Narcotics Act. They were reportedly reveling near Chak 270/HR Pacca Muraba area.
