LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said the next chief minister of Balochistan will be a Baloch Jiala.

Addressing the party organisation meeting of the Balochistan province at the Bilawal House on Thursday, the PPP chairman said the People’s Party will restore the confidence of the Baloch people in democracy. He said some of the politicians from Balochistan were making backdoor deals with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the people of the province were not being taken into confidence over key decisions.

He said a lot of statements were being issued from the Punjab on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor but no leader was raising voice about the rights of provinces in the CPEC and implementation of the National Action Plan.

He said the Balochistan government was more loyal to Takht-e -Lahore than the people of the province.Meanwhile, senior PPP leader from Sindh Manzur Hussain Wassan, talking to the media outside the Bilawal House on Thursday, predicted more seats for the PPP than the PML-N in the next general elections. He also predicted the next general elections four months before the actual constitutional term of the government.

The PPP leader also said that Sindh was facing a shortage of administrative officials, and by not extending cooperation in this regard, the central government was weakening the province.
