Protest against fake FIR

BAHAWALPUR: PML-N Youth Wing workers Thursday protested against the fake FIR against a youth and his arrest.

The protesters said police involved Adnan Rashid alias Sunni Chohan in a fake case when PML-N MNA Mian Imtiaz allegedly forced the police to do so. The protesters demanded immediate release of Sunni and withdrawal of the case against him. The protesters also urged PML-N leader Capt (retd) Muhammad Safdar to pay attention to the affairs of district Rahimyar Khan as well.

STUDENTS PROTEST AGAINST TMA: Hundreds of students of the Government High School, Chishtian, staged a protest demonstration against the TMA for poor sanitation in the city, particularly outside the school, college and THQ Hospital Road.

They said locals were suffering troubles of sewage water on roads for four years. They said now the sewerage water has entered the school, college and the DHQ Hospital Road, but local administration, including local political leadership was ignoring their troubles. They urged the Punjab Chief Minister to look into the matter.
