2 wheelie doers injured

DASKA: Two wheelie doers sustained injuries in the city area on Tuesday.
Haider and Usman were doing wheelie on Collage Road when they fell down and sustained injuries. They were shifted to the Civil Hospital from where Haider was referred to Gujranwala owing to his critical condition.
SIX GAMBLERS HELD: Police Tuesday arrested six gamblers and recovered stake money from their possession. On a tip-off, the Sadr police raided village Jesirwala and arrested accused Naveed, Zulfiqar, Hassan, Khurram, and Shahid. Six others managed to escape. Police recovered Rs 17,000 stake money and registered a case.
VALUABLE SNATCHED: Three bandits took away cash, a cell phone and gold ornaments in the area of Sadr police on Tuesday. Robbers barged into the house of Muhammad Yasir and took hostage his family and took away cash, a cell phone and gold ornaments.
CHILD ABUSED: A youth sodomised a six-year-old child in the city on Tuesday. Noor Bibi told police that her child was playing in the street when accused Mudassar Hussain took him to a room and sodomised him.
