HARIPUR: Three people, including children, were burnt alive when fire broke out at a house in the limits of Khanpur Police Station.
The police said the incident in Koi Nara village was caused by electrical short-circuiting.
The police quoted Zaheer Hussain Shah as saying that his mother Qubra Bibi was asleep along with grandchildren Hira Bibi, 15, and Mehdi Hassan, 9, when the fire broke out. “The fire engulfed the entire room in a jiffy, burning to death all the three,” he added.
