JI rallies against Indian aggression at LoC

GUJRANWALA: Activists of the Jamaat-e-Islami on Friday staged demonstrations and took out rallies against the Indian unprovoked firing at the LoC.
The protesters carrying banners and placards chanted slogans against the Indian government and forces. The protesters vowed that all the Pakistanis were ready to protect their motherland and they would fight against the enemy along with the Pakistani armed forces. They also set ablaze the effigy of Indian PM Narendra Modi during the protest.
5 STUDENTS INJURED IN BRAWL: Five students were injured when a brawl erupted between two groups of a university here on Friday.
Reportedly, dozens of students of both groups thrashed each other with slaps and punches. When contacted, the university’s administration refused to give comments on the incident.
4 HUMAN SMUGGLERS HELD: The FIA teams on Friday arrested four human smugglers from Sialkot and Mandi Bahauddin.
The FIA arrested Abbas Ahmed, Akhtar Hussain and Muhammad Ashraf from Sialkot and Muhammad Asghar from Mandi Bahauddin. The accused persons were involved in sending people abroad on fake documents.
