Seminar on rule of law organised in Jhang
JHANG: A seminar was organised on ‘Upholding the Rule of Law’ by the district judiciary in connection with the 150-year celebrations of the Lahore High Court completion at the District Council hall here on Saturday.
District and Sessions Judge Azizullah, senior civil judge, male and female judges/judicial officers, Additional District Collector Awais Malik, DCO Haroon Rasheed, senior journalists, Safdar Saleem Sial, Riaz Javed, Mrs Abida Shahbaz, JCCI president Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob and others also attended the function.
D&SJ Azizullah welcomed the participants of the seminar and said that the rule of law and judiciary were the mains sources of promoting and ensuring the rule of law in society. ADC Awais Malik said that the rule of law was a system in which essential and universal principles were being followed.
