Cambodia beat Pakistan in Asian Soft Tennis C’ship

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ahmed Ehtisham and Ibrahim Iltifat lost to Cambodian pair of Kann Sophorn and Orn Sambath in the first round of men’s doubles event of 8th Asian Soft Tennis Championship in Chiba, Japan.
According to information made available here, Pakistan players lost the match to an experienced Cambodia side by 5-3.
Pakistani duo took the lead but the Cambodians eventually assailed them. A total of 45 pairs representing 18 countries are taking part in the men’s doubles event. Pakistan will again play against Cambodia in the team event.
