DASKA: City police Saturday registered case against a lawyer and his 30 companions for resisting police action.
On a tip-off, police raided a locality and found advocate Samiullah and his companions busy in firing. When the police tried to refrain them from this illegal act they resisted the police.
GIRL ABDUCTED: A 16-year-old girl was abducted from the area of city police on Saturday.
The daughter of Arif Hussain visited the bazaar to buy some household things. When she was coming back, she was abducted by unidentified kidnappers.
DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: Police Saturday arrested four drug peddlers and recovered narcotics from their possession.
On a tip-off, police raided a locality and arrested drug peddlers Amjed Ali, Zulfiqar, Arshad and Nawaz and recovered 500 gram charas, 4 bottles liquor and illegal arms.
