Girls Boxing Championship to be held today

KARACHI: As many as 20 young girls from various parts of Karachi will be showcasing their talent in the K-Electric Girls Boxing Championship 2016 here at Marriot Hotel on Friday (today).
The competitions will begin at 2:30pm. A senior official of KE sports wing told this correspondent that the organisation took the initiative to provide an opportunity to the female lot to exhibit their potential in the sport. “Girls from Malir, Karachi Central, Lyari, Nazimabad and Korangi will feature in the one-day event,” the official said. The event is being organised with the collaboration of District South Boxing Association.
