From Our Correspondent
SIALKOT: On the order of the district and sessions judge, Civil Lines police on Wednesday booked former Hajipura UC nazim Ghulam Miran Cheema and councilor of the same UC Tahir Sarfraz for tampering with the court orders.
Reportedly, the D&SJ gave a verdict against both accused persons in a case in February 2016. Later, both accused obtained the copy of the verdict in September 2016 and after tampering with the original date of the verdict, submitted an appeal against it in the Lahore High Court. However, the LHC ordered an inquiry on suspicion, which was conducted by the D&SJ. After the inquiry, it was proved that both the accused were involved in tampering with the record.
