DPO summons investigation officer

JHANG: DPO Humayun Masood on Tuesday summoned the Mochiwala police station investigation officer along with record about registration of an alleged fake case against some farmers.
In an open court here, Muhammad Yousaf of Chak 177, Sarfraz, Haq Nawaz and others informed the DPO that their neighbour villager Ghulam Murtaza allegedly managed cancellation of their irrigation water turn from the Irrigation Department last month, resulting in damage to their crops. They said that they filed an appeal before the authorities concerned to restore their irrigation water supply. In the meantime, farmer Ghulam Murtaza allegedly got a fake case registered against them on the charge of irrigation water theft.
