Preparations for divisional inter-club hockey finalised
KARACHI: After successfully holding district rounds of the Inter-Club hockey tournament 2016 across the country, the PHF is all set to stage divisional rounds from November 11 to 15 in all divisions and affiliated units.
The PHF has informed all the stakeholders that their financial support would be required to make the divisional round successful.
The Federation will provide hockey sticks, balls, kits and other facilities to the participating teams, ‘The News’ has learnt.
Informed sources said that PHF director development and domestic has requested the concerned authorities for their cooperation. The divisional round will be held in all four provinces and affiliated units.
The PHF is breathing a new life into hockey by investing at the grassroots level. This is just the beginning but in the longer run, the move will reap benefits and help in restoring the pride of the once dominant force in the world of hockey.
