LHC CJ administers oath to four additional judges

BAHAWALPUR: Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of the Lahore High Court administered oath to four additional judges of the Lahore High Court, who are recently confirmed by the Parliamentary Committee on the recommendation of the Supreme Judicial Commission.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran while national anthem was also played. Later, Justice Khalid Mehmood, Justice Ch Mushtaq Ahmad, Justice Masood Abid Naqvi and Justice Ch Muhammad Iqbal took oath to their offices under Section 193 of the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. After the oath-taking ceremony, the Chief Justice inaugurated the renovated section of a library, which has been updated with the facility of computer library section.
