Youth from JI seek quality internet service in Chitral
CHITRAL: The youth members of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Wednesday asked the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to direct Pakistan Telecommunication Limited to provide quality internet services in Chitral.
Speaking at a press conference, JI young members, including Jehanzeb Khan, Maqsoodur Rehman, Abdul Aziz and others said the DSL service had been dysfunctional for the last month. They said the PTCL had provided 500MB internet service but was charging them for 4GB package.
The youth said most of the students used internet for educational purposes and it had become a need of the modern age. They said students in Chitral were receiving online education through internet. They said they visited the PTCL office a number of times and complained to the officials but to no avail.
