150-year celebrations of LHC
Committee made to make arrangements in Jhang

JHANG: District and Sessions Judge Sajjad Hussain Sindhar on Tuesday notified a five-member committee to make arrangements and monitor programmes in connection with the 150-year celebrations of the Lahore High Court in the district.
According to the notification, Additional Sessions Judges Muhammad Naeem Sheikh, Ch Ziaullah, Ashfaq Ahmed, Mian Shahid Javed and Civil Judge Mehboob Elahi would be the members of the committee to conduct and monitor the programmes. According to the schedule, painting and speech competitions, different indoor and outdoor sports competitions and other healthy and fun activities would be held in the district.
Meanwhile, a friendly cricket match was played at the ground of Chenab College between the teams of Jhang judicial officers/judges of Shorkot and Ahmadpur Sial judicial officers/ judges. The cricket team of Jhang judges won the match. Later, chief guest of the function D&SJ Sajjad Hussain distributed prizes among the players of winning cricket team.
