Hanif XI, Becham Club reach inter-club hockey final
KARACHI: Hanif Khan XI and Becham Hockey Club won their semi-finals of KHA inter-club hockey championship at Abdul Sattar Edhi hockey stadium on Sunday.
In the first semi-final, Hanif Khan XI defeated Rauf XI by 5-2.
Rauf XI took the lead through Arif Bhopali. Imran leveled the score for Hanif Khan XI.
Jibran of Rauf XI once again took the lead for his team.
Later Hanif Khan XI dominated the game. Imran scored three goals. Owais and Rizwan scored one goal each.
In the second semi-final, Becham Club defeated Pak PWD 4-2 in penalty shootout. The regulation time ended with scores at 2-2. Hammad and Zubair scored one goal each for Becham Club and Abdullah and Faheem scored one goal each for Pak PWD. The final will be played on November 2 at the same venue.
