Al-Faisal hockey club storm into quarters
KARACHI: Al-Faisal club cruised into the quarter-finals of the KHA Inter-Club Championship when they defeated Rajput Eleven by 3-1 at Customs hockey stadium here on Friday.
Fawad, Junaid and Bilal scored one goal each for Al-Faisal club, while Abdullah scored the solitary goal for the losing team.
In the second match at the same venue, Becham hockey club routed Al-Saghir Whites by 7-1. Sibtain and Junaid netted two goals each. Kashif and Khalid scored one goal each. Ilyas scored the lone goal for Al-Saghir Whites.
At Abdul Sattar hockey stadium, Jan Muhamamd Eleven crushed Mahmood Eleven by 11-0. Noman led the rout, scoring four goals. Kamran and Hanain scored three goals each. Irfan netted once.
In another match at the same venue, Pak PWD overwhelmed Baldia hockey club by 11-1.
Sultan, Faheem and Fareed scored two goals each and Ali Hasan, Abrar, Abdullah, Arif and Hammad found the back of the net once. Baldia’s solitary goal was scored by Bilal.
