KARACHI: The Inter-Region Under-19 match between Karachi Whites and Rawalpindi ended in a draw at the Mirpur Stadium, Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, on Friday.
In the triangular stage match, chasing a target of 306, Rawalpindi resumed their second innings at 26 without loss and reached 268-6 in 127 overs till the end of the game on the third and final day.
The hallmark of Rawalpindi’s innings was fantastic batting from Umair Masood, who hammered 85 off 121 balls, striking eight fours. Hasnain Ahmed made 53 off 138 balls, clobbering six fours.
Waheedullah belted 44 off 134 balls, hammering four fours. Abrar Ahmed picked 2-87 and Hassan Khan bagged 2-57. Karachi Whites scored 144 and 244. Rawalpindi made 83 in their first innings.
