JHANG: Additional District and Sessions Judge Ishfaq Ahmad Wednesday issued contempt of court notices to the DPO, SHO and IO of police station Qadirpur for not registration an FIR despite court orders.
Maryum Bibi, of Pabarwala locality, through a writ petition informed the court that her neighbour Allah Ditta and his accomplices entered her house illegally and thrashed her over a dispute of women. She said they also injured her six-year-old son, who suffered ten injuries.
AD&S Judge Chaudhry Ziaullah sought report from the SHO police station Qadirpur and after studying the report ordered the SHO to register a case. The petitioner in her contempt of court plea informed the court that the SHO refused to comply with the court orders. She also filed another plea seeking protection as her opponents were very close to the area police. Considering the mater as of urgent nature, duty Judge Ishfaq Ahmad issued contempt of court notices to the police officers for January 12, 2015 besides forwarding the case to AD&S Judge Chaudhry Ziaullah for further proceeding of the contempt of court.
