He said that credentials of all security guards and staff should be got verified by the special branch of police. He also stressed upon making the students scouts and girls guides active to check security measures in the schools.
CPO Dr Sohail Tajik said that a comprehensive security strategy had been evolved for the protection of educational institutions and policemen would also be deployed on the rooftops of A+ category institution. He advised the representatives of educational institutions to carryout mock exercise on their premises for sensitising the students regarding the security. He also asked them to nominate focal persons for keeping close liaison with the law enforcement agencies.
