DASKA: A 16-year-old girl was abducted from City police limits here on Wednesday.
The daughter of Muhammad Arshad was on her way home when seven accused including Sohail and Shahbaz allegedly abducted her. Police have started investigation.
VALUABLES LOOTED: Two dacoity incidents were reported here on Wednesday.
Muhammad Tauqeer was on his way home when two dacoits intercepted him and snatched cash, a cell phone and a motorcycle from him. Thieves broke into the factory of Shahid and stole valuables.
SHOPKEEPER HELD: The assistant commissioner on Wednesday raided and arrested a shopkeeper for overcharging.
The AC raided at Jesirwala village and caught shopkeeper Rehmat red-handed for overcharging. Police have registered a case.
2 HELD WITH NARCOTICS: Police on Wednesday arrested two drug pushers and recovered narcotics from their possession.
On a tip-off, the police raided and arrested Abdul Sattar and Liaquat Ali with eight liquor bottles and 400 grams charas.
ATTEMPTS SUICIDE: A youth attempted suicide in the City police area on Wednesday.
Anwar Ali attempted suicide by taking poisonous pills. He was rushed to a hospital. The motive behind the incident is said to be poverty and unemployment.
