SIALKOT: An unidentified dead body of a woman was found from a canal near Kotli Bawa Faqir Chand on Friday.
Some passers-by spotted the body and informed the Sadar Pasrur police. The police have sent the body to the Government Allama Iqbal Hospital for post-mortem. The police have registered a case.
LAWYERS SET UP PROTEST CAMP AGAINST MURDER OF COLLEAGUE: The Sialkot District Bar Association members on Friday set up a protest camp in front of the DPO Office against the murder of a lawyer and his cousin.
Talking to media, DNA president Maqsood Ahmed and secretary Ch Sarfraz Ghumman told that the lawyers would remain present in the protest camp from 8am to 4pm daily till the arrest of all accused involved in the killing of Zafar Baig advocate and his cousin Imran Baig. It is pertinent to mention here that Zafar Baig and his cousin Imran Baig were killed over enmity at Talwara Mughalan on August 31, 2016.
