Quetta Gladiators talent hunt final trials today
KARACHI: The final trials of Quetta Gladiators’ talent hunt program – Your Gateway to Stardom, will be held on Friday (today) at the Bugti Stadium in Quetta.
Former Test Cricketer and ex-chief selector Iqbal Qasim will lead the selection committee. Other members will include Gladiators Head Coach Moin Khan, Saleem Jaffar and Zafar Ahmad.
Initially, the selection committee headed by former first-class cricketer Zafar Ahmad had shortlisted 60 U23 players for the final phase.
In the initial phase, players from Quetta, Dera Murad Jamali, Jaffarabad, Naseerabad, Pishin, Hub, Loralai and other districts took part in the selection process.
The senior selection committee will shortlist 15 players. Moreover, top-five performers from Balochistan in the PCB U19 regional tournament will be drafted in automatically.
