ANF recovers 1kg heroin

FAISALABAD: Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) Saturday recovered one kg heroin from an accused.

The ANF staff recovered heroin from accused Pervaiz Ahmad, who wanted to smuggle it to Qatar by air. The accused has been shifted to ANF police station for further investigation.

TWO HELD FOR WHEELIES: A warden of traffic police Saturday arrested two people who were doing wheelies on their motorcycles on the Canal Road.

Mansoorabad police arrested and registered cases against accused Tahir and Farhan.

HUMAN SMUGGLER HELD: The FIA Saturday claimed arresting a human smuggler. Reportedly, the FIA arrested accused Safdar Abbas, who had received Rs 1 million from a man on the pretext of sending him to Australia.

YOUTH DIES IN ACCIDENT: A youth died in a road accident on Saturday. Muhammad Asif, of Chak 402/GB was heading to Faisalabad city on a motorcycle when a donkey cart hit him. As a result, he received critical injuries and was shifted to Allied Hospital where he died.

SHRINE CARETAKER KILLED: A caretaker of the shrine of Qaim Shah was killed in Ghulam Muhammadabad.

Reportedly, Nasir Ahmad was present at the shrine when some unidentified cyclists came and injured him critically. He was shifted to the Allied Hospital where he died.
