DPO holds open court

JHANG: DPO Humayun Masood has said that provision of speedy justice to the people at their doorsteps and without discrimination is priority of the Police Department.
Addressing an open court here on Wednesday, he said that resolving problems of the people was his mission for which all-out resources were being utilised. He said that strict action would be taken against the police officers, who would negligence in this regard.
PILLION RIDING BANNED: On the recommendations of the DPO, DCO Ghazi Amanullah has imposed a ban on pillion riding on Muharram on 6, 7, 9 and 10 under Section 144 to ensure peace during Muharram. According to the notification, women, children, old men, police, law enforcement agencies personnel and journalists are exempted from the pillion riding ban.
