Commissioner for promoting peace

BHAKKAR: Sargodha Division Commissioner Nadeem Mehmood has said that it is need of the hour to promote peace in the society.
He said this while addressing a meeting of the District Peace Core Committee and district administration officers along with RPO Zulfiqar Hameed here on Wednesday. The commissioner said that we should promote peace, unity, tolerance and brotherhood in the society especially during the Muharram days. He said that it was the responsibility of every citizen to spread message of peace in the society. Earlier, the DCEO informed the commissioner and the RPO that all necessary security steps had been adopted to maintain peace during the Muharram in the district.
