Motorcyclist dies

HAFIZABAD: A motorcyclist was killed when a speeding car hit him near Chak Chattha on Thursday.
Safdar Imtiaz of Jaidke village was riding his motorcycle and near Chak Chattha a speeding car coming from the opposite side hit him, leaving him dead on the spot.
VAN PASSENGERS LOOTED: Passengers of a van were robbed of cash and valuables on Thursday.
Three bandits, who rode a van in the guise of travelers, snatched Rs 150,000 and ornaments from passengers of a van near Dinga Shameer village.
The van was heading to Lahore from Hafizabad.
Valuables and ornaments were snatched from Safdar Hussain, Jaan Bukhs, Talbi Hussain, Umair and others.
Meanwhile, three robbers snatched cash and a motorbike from a man near Walayke village.
Ghulam Abbas was heading to Pir Kamal from Thattha Ghahra and near Walake village he was intercepted by robbers, who took away his motorbike, Rs 10,000 and two mobile phones.
