OCCI gets first unopposed female president

OKARA: Shahnaz Zafar has been elected unopposed as president of the Okara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) for the year 2016-17.
OCCI Election Commissioner Shifaullah Waseem announced the election of the first OCCI woman president.
While, Muhammad Javed has been elected as senior vice-president and Abdul Kareem as vice-president.
OCCI founder president Muhammad Arshad Iqbal, and former presidents Shafqat Rasool, Muhammad Iqbal Shahid, Chaudhry Khalilur Rahman, members of the house, MNA Riazul Haq, MPA Mian Muhammad Munir and others congratulated the elected dignitaries.
The official declaration of the election results would be made in the Annual General meeting of the OCCI on September 30th, 2016.
