Passport officials accused of torture

GUJRANWALA: A man has accused the passport officials and agents of torturing him when he protested against them for demanding bribe.
Talking to newsmen here on Monday, Abid alleged that the passport officials and agents demanded Rs 1,000 bribe from him for issuing a token. When he protested against it, the officials and agents allegedly tortured him and locked him in a room, he added. Later, the accused released him on an intervention of the people, he added.
