From Our Correspondent
FAISALABAD: It is need of the hour to impart technical education to youth to overcome economic problems.
These views were expressed by DCO Salman Ghani while addressing a certificate awarding ceremony of the Pasban Welfare & Technical Training Centre as the chief guest here on Sunday. The DCO also visited various sections of the centre with Pasban Group chairman Shah Nawaz. The DCO appreciated the keen interest of the students in their training classes. He said that these facilities should be extended to the middleclass students so that after completing their technical education at the centre, they could get jobs. He congratulated the students and assured full cooperation to the centre’s administration. He asked the teachers about courses and appreciated their hard working. The Pasban Group chairman informed the chief guest that poor students were being imparted training in repair of refrigerators, motorcycles and mobile phones. He told that these deserving students were given monthly stipend.
