Three booked for stealing sales tax files

FAISALABAD: Civil Lines police have registered a case against three employees of the Income Tax Department on the charge of stealing sales tax files from the Income Tax Commissioner Office.
Those booked include Muhammad Moazzam. The case has been instituted on the complaint of Khalid Hussain, an employee of the department.
Two killed on road

FAISALABAD: Two people were killed in separate road accidents here on Thursday.
In the first incident, Asif Ali, a resident of Vehari, was seriously injured in an accident on Faisalabad-Samundri Road. He was shifted to the Allied Hospital where he died.
In the second incident, Shafa Bibi of Chak 8/JB fell on a road from a motorcycle being driven by her husband Ghulam Muhammad. As a result, she was injured seriously. She was shifted to the Allied Hospital where she succumbed to injuries.
